final flight of the day

                                           by the final flight she had settled down and was flying quite steady
                                            now for the next project either the sidewinder missile or fly guy

2nd flight was better after slight adjustments to cog

it was a calm day on sunday hardly any wind
1st flight was a bit hairy in places but it flew

shes finally finished

shes now finished. just need to wait for good day with little wind to fly her.
now for the techi bit it has a 1000kv tower pro motor turning
a 10x8 prop on a 3s lipo

the worlds first rc flying ambulance

whilst idley chatting over lunch at work the question was asked could
you build a flying ambulance and before i knew what i'd said
of course i can was my reply.....so the challenge was set
and above is the almost finished result of several
weeks build time and several £ lighter.....the worlds first to my
knowledge remote controlled flying ammbulance
complete with lights and sirens...

this is what i started with all cut from 6mm depron
 

these are the wing panels 80% finished painted with emulsion that
matched a true ambulance colour....had fun holding colour charts
up against the side of an ambulance....got some funny looks from paramedics
