the worlds first rc flying ambulance

whilst idley chatting over lunch at work the question was asked could
you build a flying ambulance and before i knew what i'd said
of course i can was my reply.....so the challenge was set
and above is the almost finished result of several
weeks build time and several £ lighter.....the worlds first to my
knowledge remote controlled flying ammbulance
complete with lights and sirens...

this is what i started with all cut from 6mm depron

these are the wing panels 80% finished painted with emulsion that
matched a true ambulance colour....had fun holding colour charts
up against the side of an ambulance....got some funny looks from paramedics

fus side completed

fus sat on base to check

wing panels joined to base

wing panels folded up

fus sat on base with wing panels folded down...and below
test run in front room to check lights and prop...
